Come on down

Come on down, kind of feeling down

Turn my frown, upside down

It has been long, wrong all along

Singing all alone, blown all around

Swing by me, I am breaking down

Come on down, kind of feeling down

Turn my frown, upside down

Life is full of strife, eyes are full of tears

Wishing you were here, to wipe away my tears

Dreams are like glass, all broken down

Come on down, kind of feeling down

Turn my frown, upside down

Nothing that I do, seems to be right

Feeling like a kite, with no wind around

Running blind, and falling behind

Come on down, kind of feeling down

Turn my frown, upside down

What do I do, I am lost without you

Mind is full of doubt, wants to break out

End my drought, rain down on me

Come on down, kind of feeling down

Turn my frown, upside down

C Plus Plus

I went to a local class to learn C plus plus

Right after I left my bins for garbage collection

They asked me to fill out an application

Which turned out to be a very boring function

I did not know how to handle the class

I was an exception, because of my old age

But as I was terminated from my previous job

I had to learn this Object Oriented language

My memory is not what it used to be

But I decided to go to this class

I needed to include this in my resume

As I had no inheritance to fall back on

A pointer was being used to make the presentation

The topic was enumerations, how it is used in applications

The students were making lot of comments

All I wanted was to get a break, to take a leak

There were many characters in the class

I looped through them, to try and catch their names

The institution had a library, open to their members

I put my name on the queue, for few of their resources

The day ended with a huge argument about virtual classes

My brain was on overload mode, so I made my escape

Oops, I forgot to pick up my assignment for the day

While I headed back home, I felt out of my element

I was in a destructive mood, but focused on the constructive

Each bit of data needed to be stored, for future reference

The concepts were clearer, each compared to yesterday

My conversion was underway, but I did need a double..
